Settle in for an evening of slow-stitching with Wendy Wild in Dubbo and make a handy knot bag. It’s the perfect size to hold your current sock project, sewing tools or even a reusable gift bag.
Makers will stitch a panel to make a unique, hand-stitched knot bag. Wendy will bring examples of Kantha, Boro and Kawandi stitching and teach her own riff on these traditional quilt-making and mending techniques.
The class fee includes:
- project materials, including fabrics, needle and thread ( but feel free to bring some of your favourite scraps!)
- Knot bag project sheet
- Light refreshments
No sewing machine is required. Just bring your pins and scissors.
The class will be held 5.30 - 9pm on Friday 17 May at Yummy Yarn & Co, 29 Talbragar St, Dubbo, NSW
