A word about the weather
As I type Hervey Bay and much of south east Queensland is being lashed by the tail end of cyclone Debbie.
We're experiencing some strong wind gusts but nothing like the fury experienced by everyone further north. This Debbie - she was a whopper with nearly 1000 km of the coast battered by her category 4 winds and rain. She is nowhere near as wild now that she's been downgraded but still managing to dump a LOT of rain on us in the south. It is totally bucketing down outside.
I managed to get a bunch of orders shipped out this morning before it became totally crazy. As I left the post office, they began to close up shop and send their staff home. I anticipate that they will remain closed tomorrow and reopen on Monday.
We do our best to turn orders around with 24 hours, but even as the town of Hervey Bay begins to open up again, I expect that there will still be delays due to regional road closures with flooding.
I plan to continue on, business as usual and will provide you with updates on shipping of your orders. If you have emailed or messaged me on Instagram and I haven't responded in a couple of hours it may mean that we've lost power or internet, but I will respond as soon as I am able.
Now - I'd better hop to it and cut some more, Bjorn Bear , Florence Flamingo and Lloyd and Lola kits. They are flying out the door.
