Pour me a wine please

4 new RSS collections landed in the last week!

What can I say.  It has been pretty.......
  • Hectic
  • Exciting
  • Surprising
  • And full of extremely pretty fabric which feels like it is packed in to the rafters!
Over 100 bolts of Ruby Star Society arrived this week and I have been like a hamster on a treadmill cutting, making fabric stacks before shipping pre-sale orders and kicking off the fabric clubs.

Here's the highlights:

Fabric Clubs

Here's a sneaky peek at what will be arriving in mailboxes of all the folk who have signed up for one, or BOTH of the 2022 Ruby Star clubs.  Club 5 is the one with all the decorative prints and  we are kicking off with this bundle of Reign and a few of Sarah's joyful Birthday.

There are still a few spots available in Club 5 which will also include a rainbow of fabrics from Vessel, Tomato Tomahto and Camellia. Find out more here

The first bundle in the Stars and Spots club is a toasty mix of Alexia's Starrry and Kim's new Hole Punch Dot. This club is now fully subscribed, but there is extra yardage available for you to curate your own bundle.

You can find all of the available Hole Punch Dots here and Starry fabrics here

Reign & Birthday

There's good news and bad news with Reign.  It is even more vibrant than I remembered, but unfortunately less than half of the fabrics from the collection arrived so for now we get to enjoy just a few.  Yardage is extremely limited as most of the bolt is earmarked for the Ruby Star Society Club 5 members, but you can shop the available Reign fabrics here.

Likewise with Sarah's Birthday collection, where I am still waiting on about half of the designs to arrive.  My favourites (funfetti and tiny stars) are all here though which is great news.  Here's the link and a reminder of the joyful colours and handy small scale Birthday prints that have arrived

And it wasn't' just fabric in those boxes

Squee!

If you have been following my stories on IG this week you will have seen two colossal boxes delivered.  I had no idea what was inside.  I was pretty excited when I discovered my sexy new carousel thread stand.

cotton and steel thread stand

C+S Sulky is hands down the highest quality 100% cotton thread I have come across and I use it for both hand and machine piecing as well as machine quilting. I may also be guilty of giving this pretty girl a twirl a couple of times a day.

I am still waiting to restock a number of shades, but the great news is that lots of lovely neutrals that are perfect for piecing arrived this week as well. Shop all the colours, or maybe even sign up for the thread club here.

Specked restock
