Sessoms Quilt - pattern by Carolyn Friedlander
The Sessoms quilt pattern is inspired by the charming old fences and screens where Carolyn's dad grew up on Sessoms Avenue. The symmetrical, lattice-like design offers the opportunity to create movement or tell a story using different colors, textures, and prints across its repeated shapes.
Sessoms is a great beginner, paper-pieced project to explore color gradations and other visual relationships.
