Pretty things in pretty boxes

Kits for some great projects have arrived from Riley Blake Fabrics.

First up in the Tomato Pincushion quilt kit by Lori Holt of Bee In My Bonnet. It has a wonderful vintage vibe and is made using regular piecing techniques.

The quilt has a delightful vintage vibe and is the perfect way to decorate your sewing space .The Kit includes pattern and fabric for quilt top and binding. The pattern is by Lori Holt and the project uses here Stitch fabric collection with Riley Blake Fabrics..

Finished size is 58" x 70".

Heartfelt boxed kits

In the same shipment from Riley Blake Fabrics were the long awaited Heartfelt boxed quilt kits. 

Heartfelt is a foundation paper piecing project by Kristy Lea of Quietplay and features her juicy Dream fabric collection. The design features sweet hearts combined into a wreath. Once pieced the block also reveals a secondary star pattern hidden in the centre. 

With its repeated shape, Heartfelt is a great project for folk new to FPP as it will help you really find your flow with the technique.  Of course it is also just the ticket for all you rainbow lovers out there. 

As well as the pattern, and all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding, Heartfelt also comes in its own beautiful box.  These will be collectors items!  Find out more here
