Chic Escape

Chic Escape is a special release from Tilda.  Inspired by the faded glory of a French chateau in need of restoration the large scale, botanical prints of Chic Escape evoke the timeless chintz furnishings and homewares that will bring the building back to life.

There's nothing faded or nanna-ish about the palette though which is bright, yet also softened by the injection of  lighter tonal prints.  Clever!

You can get a better idea of the scale and style of prints in this image of them displayed on bolts.  There's peacocks, jardinières and beautiful rose bouquets shown here in some of the blue and yellow fabrics.  Did I say roses?  There's lots and lots of roses.

 

Daisyfield

Daisyfield is a small to medium scale tossed floral that made specifically to coordinate seamlessly with the large scale designs of Chic Escape.  I can see so many ways to incorporate these into projects as they work well as a stand-alone print or their own discreet palette.
