Riley Blake Dream is rainbow-riffic

Australia's own Kristy Lea (@quietplay) is well know for her wonderful foundation paper piecing patterns and love of a rainbow palette.

Dream is her second collection for Riley Blake and it feels like a gift right now.  With more than half us living in lockdown (or bravely soldiering on as essential workers)  heaven only knows the world needs fluffy clouds, gentle rain, hearts, and colourful bolts (stacked in rainbow order of course) right now!

There's 24 pieces in the collection.  First up there are 19 tonal prints that together cover the full spectrum.  Here's a sample of each of the designs.

Here's a sampling of the 4 low volumes fabrics that have a sprinkling of colour on a crisp white background, like these circlets of hearts (called heartfelt) , or raindrops in grey which would be a wonderful choice for binding.

If you are needing some  project inspo for Dream, I don't think you can go past Kristy's uber-popular Geometric Sewing Machine foundation paper piecing pattern.

A cushion or mini would be a fabulous way to decorate your sewing space AND use your Dream bundle. You can purchase a copy of Kristy's Geometric Sewing Machine pattern, plus many many more via her store here
You can find all of the Dream fabrics here.  Clickety click and enjoy some rainbow eye candy.
